On Campus Event - Old Library, Room 224
2022 Reproductive Rights Event Poster November 2022

On June 24, 2022, in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that had for nearly 50 years protected the constitutional right to abortion. State governments and Congress now have the power to enact and enforce laws that either protect or prohibit abortion access.

This November, U.S. voters will cast their ballots to influence how protective or restrictive laws and policies will be. Attendees of this speaker series event will have the opportunity to engage in a conversation-style setting, to ask questions and engage in dialogue on issues of reproductive rights for the upcoming 2022 midterm elections.

"Reproductive Health and Abortion Rights on the Ballot: Let's Have a Conversation," will include discussion of historical perspectives on reproductive health and rights in the United States as well as the consequences of the November election for reproductive autonomy, mental health, and justice.
