Film Screening of 'ORLANDO: The Life of a Renaissance Composer'
On Tuesday, December 10 at 7 p.m., the Department of Music presents the film screening of: Orlando: The Life of a Renaissance Composer. The film, directed by Joachim Thôme, combines commentary and performance of Orlando di Lasso's music, in French, German, Dutch, Italian and English (with complete English subtitles). Contributing scholars include Richard Freedman, John C. Whitehead '43 Professor of Music, who will lead a Q/A about the composer and making of the film after the screening.
