360掳 Courses Continue to Provide Opportunities for Students to Learn Abroad

Interdisciplinary and interactive, Bryn Mawr's 360掳 Program builds on the College's strong institutional history of learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom, placed within a rigorous academic framework. Many 360掳s also include field work abroad during semester breaks. 

This fall, students and faculty in the 360掳 Climate Change: Science & Politics traveled to Germany and those in Minerals, Museums, & Western Colonialism went to England.

In Germany, The Climate Change 360掳  took several tours arranged by . This included a tour of the Altstadt (Old City) of Freiburg to witness the city鈥檚 innovate public transit system, a trip to the sustainable model district of Vauban, a visit to a sustainable farm, and more.

Those in Minerals, Museums, & Western Colonialism visited the , London's , the , Bristol Cathedral, and more. At the museums, students were able to learn about curating practices and policies for mineral collections and compare them to what's done with Bryn Mawr's own collection.
