Message for Class of 2024: You will meet so many amazing people– take the time to listen to them. Get to know and show appreciation to the housekeeping and dining hall staff. Push yourself to take on challenges. Root for your friends' growth. In the challenging moments, breathe, and remember that you've gotten this far, and that you have it in you to get through whatever comes next. In the joyful moments, breathe, and take a moment to appreciate where you are, and who you are with. Take advantage of all of the opportunities Bryn Mawr has to offer– there are so many projects to get involved in and resources to use and pay forward, across the departments on campus. Cultivate flexibility and creativity. Stay curious.
I have so much thanks for my professors and friends in the Linguistics and Education Departments, for my friends who were up for anything from exploring Philly to hunkering down together during finals- and thesis-writing seasons, for the full-time staff in the Dining Halls and the 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú team, for everyone at Bryn Mawr who has believed in me and supported my growth over the past 4 years, and for my family.
Members of the Class of 2020, we want to hear from you! Drop us a note at news@brynmawr.edu. Include a photo of yourself and let us know what you have planned for life after Bryn Mawr, who you'd like to thank, words of wisdom, or whatever else you'd like to say. We'll be sharing selected profiles on the College's website and social media channels over the next few weeks.
