Al-Hallaq is also an examiner for the American Board of Radiology, an associate editor for the Red Journal, and a board member of the Society of Directors of Academic Medical Physics Programs.
"Bryn Mawr taught me to love research by giving me research opportunities as early as the summer after my freshman year. Also, the Physics Department gave us the skills we needed to succeed: strong scientific reasoning, writing, and presentation skills. Bryn Mawr also taught me to stand up for what I believe in and to hold myself and others to a high standard. I am grateful to have seen many examples of women succeeding in professional and community life, and to continue this tradition for the next generation, including my three daughters.鈥 -- Dr. Hania Al-Hallaq '94.
