GSSWSR Faculty, Doctoral Students to Present at CSWE Meeting

GSSWSR students, faculty, and staff attended the Council On Social Work Education (CSWE) 67th Annual Program Meeting (APM), held November 4鈥7, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. The APM is the preeminent annual meeting for social work educators, students, deans, and directors worldwide, a place where social work education influencers collaborate, learn, teach, and grow. This year鈥檚 APM is focused on "Leading Critical Conversations: Racial, Economic, & Environmental Justice" and will feature social work education presentations, an exhibit hall, and networking opportunities.

The GSSWSR prepares students to become effective social work practitioners, advocates for social and economic justice, and leaders in the social work profession. Students learn about work with individuals, families and groups, as well as social work with organizations and communities. Students learn a holistic approach to social work practice with an emphasis on the importance of diversity and inclusion. GSSWSR's accredited program awards a Master of Social Service (M.S.S.) degree, which is equivalent to an M.S.W.
